Blue Eagle Consulting is pleased to highlight HOWIE, a hospital operations concept founded by Matthew Howarth and focused on discharge readiness, discharge-critical blockers, case management flow, patient throughput, and bed capacity.

HOWIE is being advanced through a narrow 90-day, read-only hospital pilot model designed to evaluate whether discharge readiness and discharge-critical blockers can be identified earlier using existing hospital workflows and available data signals.
The pilot approach is intentionally limited in scope. It is not designed to replace the EHR, change clinical decision-making, add staff, create additional documentation, or write back into hospital systems. The objective is to support earlier operational visibility so hospital teams can act sooner on discharge-related bottlenecks.

Blue Eagle Consulting is aligned to support HOWIE’s technical implementation and pilot execution planning, subject to final hospital scope, contracting, funding approval, and implementation requirements.
